Sexual Differences

Female has a more robust, stockier body. Except for the period of laying eggs, her cloaca isn’t swollen, but rather small. Her tail is usually shorter. Her fingertips aren’t distinctively black (this is hard to tell in the natural dark colour breeds).

Male has more slender body with longer tail. Usually it is bigger than the female. In the period of mating his cloaca is distinctively swollen, puffed up; his fingertips are black and along its sides you may notice a gritty rash.
